Barron and Melania Trump Welcome Christmas Tree to White House
The tree, presented by the Chapman family of Wisconsin-based Silent Night Evergreens, arrived at the White House Monday afternoon as Melania and Barron were seen smiling from ear to ear.
The tree arrived by a horse-drawn carriage while a brass band played Christmas carols and officially kicked off the holiday season in Washington.
Barron, 11, appears to have hit a growth spurt, standing at level height with his mother, who was in heels, as they posed for photos with the Chapman family.
The tree will be decorated by White House staff and placed on display in the Blue Room of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
In the past, the Chapman family provided trees to the White House in 1998 and 2003.
