Megan Alexander is a New York-based correspondent for the award-winning newsmagazine Inside Edition.

From crime stories to fashion trends, Alexander brings an insightful eye to the stories she covers for the newsmagazine’s viewers.

Before joining Inside Edition in 2007, Alexander was co-host of the daily entertainment show “Great Day S.A.” in San Antonio, TX. She helped launch, produce and host the weekly home improvement show “Mi Casa Makeover,” now in its 10th season.

Alexander also served as Anchor for morning news and traffic reports for KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to that, Alexander was entertainment host for “Tennessee Mornings on Fox 17” where she delivered entertainment news and special features. While in Nashville, Megan was a reporter/host for various local television stations, radio stations and production studios.

A contributing writer for San Antonio’s NSIDE Business Journal, Alexander also sits on their Advisory Board, as well as on the board for GIRLS, INC.  She is an active member in the country music scene and appears in country music artist Josh Turner’s music video “What it Ain’t.” Alexander remains involved in numerous special projects for both film and music. A vocalist and songwriter, she penned the theme song for the independent movie “Heaven Cent”.

Alexander enjoys speaking to youth and emcees countless events across the country every year for organizations like the United Way and the Make a Wish Foundation.

Alexander is a Seattle native.  She received a B.S. in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, and served as student body president of the college.

She currently lives in the New York area.
