Skipping High Retail Prices To Rent Holiday Looks

INSIDE EDITION went to Rent The Runway where you can rent your holiday looks for a fraction of the designer prices, and it even works for kids.

Searching for a great deal on the perfect party dress this holiday season? Think about renting a dress.

That's right, the website Rent The Runway offers designer dresses for a fraction of the sky-high retail prices.

A white and cream embroidered Osman dress sells for $1,995. You can rent it for just $225.

A Nha Khanh lace and toile cocktail dress runs nearly $1,000. Rent it for just a few days for just $150.

A Badgley Mischka dress retails for $495, but you can rent it for just $75. And one called a disco romper, is usually $432 but rents for $70.

If you happen to be in New York, you can even visit the Rent The Runway showroom in the Henri Bendel department store.

The trend of renting high-end duds is now even speading to kids clothes.

Alex and Heidi Lieske came up with the idea for Borrow Mini Couture after spending $400 on an outfit for their toddler son to wear to a wedding.

A representative from Rent the Runway told INSIDE EDITION, "People are looking for affordability but they still want quality."
