The meeting reportedly took place at Harvey Weinstein's offices in the Tribeca Film Center in Lower Manhattan last Friday.

When Weinstein's accuser left the office, reports say she immediately went to the first police precinct a few blocks away to report the incident and was interviewed by detectives from NYPD's Special Victims Unit.

Weinstein and Ambra met for the first time Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall at the premiere of Weinstein's theatrical production New York Spring Spectacular.

They exchanged emails and apparently agreed to meet at Weinstein's office the next day at 6 p.m.

Detectives contacted Weinstein on Saturday and he agreed to to be interviewed at 5 p.m. at the 1st Police Precinct. At some point, he asked to consult his lawyer and was allowed to leave.

Harvey Weinstein is married to fashion designer Georgina Chapman, who was a judge on Project Runway All-Stars.

Weinstein has not been charged and his spokesman says in a statement: "We are cooperating fully with the authorities and are confident that we will be fully vindicated."
