Jennifer Aniston, Other Celebs Allegedly Ripped Off at Exclusive Hollywood Spa

Jennifer Aniston is one of several celebrities who were allegedly ripped off by the owner of a Hollywood beauty spa. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Jennifer Aniston says she suspected for years that superstar celebrities were being ripped off at the exclusive Beverly Hills beauty spa Chez Gabriela Studio.

"I knew that something like this would eventually happen because there's just no way you can get away with that," Aniston told Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos.

Her revelation comes as beautician-to-the-stars Maria Gabriela Perez appeared in federal court, charged with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from actress Liv Tyler.

Others alleged victims include actresses Anne Hathaway and Melanie Griffith.

Her arrest, after a Secret Service raid on her establishment, has stunned her A-list clients. Cher once dubbed her "the Michelangelo of skin care."

Aniston told Stephanopoulos she was also victimized.

"It wasn't to the extent that these other girl have had," she said.

"But you had a sense something wrong was going on," Stephanopoulos said.

"We had a situation that was not cool, so I just stopped going to her, paid the money and left," Aniston explained.

However the exclusive salon's website still carries Aniston's autographed picture, which says, "Dearest Gabby. Thank you for always being so good to me. Love you, Jennifer."

Stars would go to the spa, located in Beverly Hills, for beauty treatments costing up to $5,000 a session and buy skin care products also costing thousands of dollars. Prosecutors say Perez used some of her star clients' credit card numbers to charge hundreds of thousands of dollars for beauty treatments they never had.

Prosecutors say Liv Tyler's credit cards were overcharged by $214,000.

Other celebrity clients include Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, and even former president Bill Clinton!

A statement from her defense attorney says Perez is innocent: "Ms. Perez runs a legitimate business and I expect the facts to prove she is innocent and I fully expect she will be exonerated of all charges."
