Michael Douglas Appears at Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps Premiere

Michael Douglas made an appearance at the premiere of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, thrilling fans and well-wishers of the ailing star. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.

A brave Michael Douglas walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. His beautiful wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, was by his side. It was the couple's first public appearance since Douglas announced he's battling stage four throat cancer.

The actor declined to do any interviews. He could be seen looking away without saying a word when a reporter tried to talk with him.

Douglas graciously signed autographs for well-wishers outside his apartment building on his way to the premiere.

Douglas says he won't be able to eat or speak in just two weeks time because of daily radiation treatment. A source at the Los Angeles Times said, "Sores start forming in your mouth, then lesions, and then you can't swallow."

His co-stars praised his courage. Shia LaBoeuf  said, "He's strong."

Josh Brolin said, "He's putting himself out there. He's allowing himself to be seen. He's not vicitmizing himself. I'm really proud of him."
