Michael Bolton Fuming at Dancing Judge

Michael Bolton is asking for a public apology from Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli for his over-the-top negative remarks. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

Singer Michael Bolton is boiling mad after being booted off Dancing with the Stars.

Bolton said, "I think he should apologize publicly and be reprimanded for it."

He's lashing out at judge Bruno Tonioli for this scathing remark about his dancing ability when Tonioli said, "I think it was the worst jive in 11 seasons."

Bolton told Good Morning America he found the criticism tremendously insulting, saying, "My mom, who's 90, was there. I thought she was going to really enjoy it and I didn't expect that level of disrespect from him."

The singer received one of the lowest scores in the show's history. No surprise, he was booted off the show Tuesday night. He left immediately for a concert in Napa Valley and didn't appear for backstage interviews.

His partner, Chelsie Hightower, told INSIDE EDITION Bolton has a legitimate beef.

"It was harsh, it definitely was harsh," said Hightower.

Other contestants stood up for Bolton, saying this isn't just a case of sour grapes.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino said, "I would probably do the same thing, so good for him."

Kurt Warner said, "We don't want to come out here and give everything we have and then hear comments like that that leave a negative taste in your mouth."

No word from judge Bruno on Bolton's demands.
