Uproar Over GQ's "Glee Gone Wild" Shoot

A racy GQ photo shoot has Glee and its stars under fire. Was the "Glee Gone Wild" photo shoot a little too wild? INSIDE EDITION has the story.

"Trashy" and "vulgar." That's what some Glee fans are saying about the raunchy GQ photo shoot featuring Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, and Cory Monteith.

"Lea Michelle [sic] looks like she is ready to go star in a Porn Movie," wrote one fan on the show's website.

"No! No! No! Glee is a good family show! Why ruin it with these distasteful photos?!" wrote another.

Parents in particular are upset that the girls are portrayed as the "ultimate schoolgirl fantasy."

In one shot, breakout star Michele sucks suggestively on a lollipop. In another, she's perched in her underwear on a locker room bench, her legs spread, her bra exposed.

The GQ cover is also coming under fire. It features Monteith with his hands firmly on both girls' rears.

And Agron, who some think looked ill at ease, told GQ she was concerned that the photos might fuel false online rumors that she and Michele are in a relationship.

"When it was just Lea and me, I was like 'We're in skimpy clothes, we're up against each other.' This is feeding those rumors...I've never been shot in so little clothing," she said.

It's important to note that although Michele plays a high school student on TV, in real life she's 24 years old.

"I don't know how they got me to do half the stuff I did," she told GQ. "But I was in really good shape this summer so..."

Glee has been pushing the envelope in its second season. The Britney Spears tribute episode came under attack for its racy content, and a scene from the most recent show features two cheerleaders smooching on a bed.

Maybe the controversial GQ layout shouldn't have come as such a big surprise!
