It's Cher vs. Sarah Palin, thanks to a new article in Vanity Fair in which Cher calls the politician dumb. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Superstar Cher is going after Sarah Palin, calling her dumb!
The singer blasts Palin in the December issue of Vanity Fair, saying she had a strong reaction to seeing the politician on TV.
"Sarah Palin came on, and I thought, 'Oh ----, this is the end!' Because a dumb woman is a dumb woman," Cher told the magazine.
There's been no response from Palin, but reaction from others has been swift and furious.
"And the dumb woman is.... Wait, I am opening the envelope... Cher!" wrote one Vanity Fair reader.
"Cher, talk about dumb, she redefines the word," wrote another.
Cher is also opening up to the magazine about her daughter-turned-son Chaz Bono, who had a sex change almost two years ago.
"If I woke up tomorrow in a guy's body, I would just kick and scream and cry because I cannot see myself as anything but who I am--a girl. I would not take it as well as Chaz has," says the star.
Cher admits she has a problem when talking about Chaz, who was born Chastity, and sometimes still slips and calls him a "her."
"She's a very smart girl...boy!" Cher told Vanity Fair, adding, "This is where I get into trouble. I still don't remember to call her 'him.' "
