Judge Warns Lindsay Lohan Will Go to Jail if She Accepts Plea
There was another court appearance and another inappropriate court outfit for Lindsay Lohan.
The troubled starlet strutted into court wearing a daringly low-cut black shirt tucked into high-waisted white pants and sky-high black patent stilettos. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail.
At first glance, the racy getup is slightly more conservative than the shocking skintight white dress she wore to her last appearance, but it's still likely to raise eyebrows. According to some reports, Lindsay chose not to wear a bra to court.
Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan walked in right behind her, holding hands with Lindsay's younger brother. Her father Michael Lohan was also on hand.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret sat in the front row in the courtroom with Lindsay's parents and her brother. They all looked nervous as Lindsay's lawyer spent 40 minutes meeting with the prosecutor in the judge's chambers. The actress is desperately trying to work out a plea deal and avoid jail time, but the judge dashed those hopes.
"This case does involve jail time, period. If you plead in front of me, [if] this case is resolved in front of me, you are going to jail," Judge Keith Schwartz told her.
The judge issued the stern warning to Lindsay after she reportedly turned down a plea deal to serve six months behind bars. He told the actress that if she does plead guilty to stealing the $2,500 necklace from Kamofie & Company, he would also require that she see a therapist.
"I don't want you to be a repeat offender in the system. I don't want you to come back in the system anymore. I want you to get on with your life, I want you to reach whatever potential you have and move on," Judge Schwartz told her.
Lohan is due back in court on March 10th.
