Piers Morgan Confronts Larry King About "Oversold" Comments

Things got a little awkward when Piers Morgan confronted predecessor Larry King about the not-so-nice things King said about him during a radio show. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

It was a showdown on live TV!

"I've got a bone to pick with you and I think you know what it is!" Piers Morgan told Larry King.

"Pick it!" said King.

Piers Morgan confronted King over the not-so-nice comments he made in a recent radio interview, during which he called Morgan "oversold" and "undangerous."

King told BBC radio, "He's certainly an acceptable host. He asks good questions. Maybe he interrupts a little too much at times. He may have been oversold."

"I have spent the last few months saying following you is like following Frank Sinatra. I couldn't have paid you higher praise, [then] you go in my backyard and say I'm oversold, undangerous," Morgan said.

"I said, 'He's fine,' " King protested.

After the show Morgan told INSIDE EDITION he's taking King's criticism in stride.

"Larry is perfectly entitled to say what he wants, he has 25 years under his belt, he's the expert. He's my hero. Larry could kill me and I'd still love him," he said.
