Ex-Wife of Michael Douglas Wants More Money

Michael Douglas's ex-wife says she's not a greedy person after she sued Douglas for more money while he was battling cancer. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Michael Douglas's ex wife Diandra is speaking out, saying she's "not greedy" in her bid to try to get more money from her movie star ex-husband while he was battling cancer. She says she didn't know he was sick when she asked for more cash, and she's also blaming Bernie Madoff for not having enough cash to support her lifestyle.

Diandra Douglas defends herself for suing her ex-husband Michael Douglas for 50 percent of the money he made from the Wall Street sequel.

"I'm not a greedy person," she tells the April issue of Harpers Bazaar magazine.

"I am not going after sick people for things that don't belong to me," she said.

Diandra says she called Michael when she found out that he was seriously ill with stage four throat cancer to tell him she was "Terribly sorry he was ill."

But she claims the Oscar® winner hung up on her.

Michael's lawyers told the magazine that he doesn't recall the hang-up but acknowledged "he might have addressed her in an abrupt manner."

Diandra says she filed the lawsuit becasue she lost her money in Bernie Madoff's swindle.
