The TV Movie Elizabeth Taylor Wanted to Ban

It's the movie Elizabeth Taylor wanted to ban. Now we're hearing from one of the stars of the film she did everything she could to stop.

"Was everyone upset that Liz Taylor was not supportive of the miniseries?" INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander asked actor Corey Parker.

Parker played Taylor's fourth husband Eddie Fisher in the 1995 TV mini-series Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story.

"Of course we wanted Elizabeth Taylor to be supportive of the story," said Parker.

It was based on the book Liz: An Intimate Biography by C. David Heymann. Taylor was portrayed by actress Sherilyn Fenn.

The movie claimed that Taylor had been beaten and abused by three of her husbands, Nicky Hilton, Mike Todd, and Richard Burton.

She denied that, and her lawyers actually filed for an injunction to stop the movie from airing on NBC, but they lost in court.
"It was certainly an honor to approach that story, and tell that story," Parker said.

INSIDE EDITION has a first look at something for the ultimate Elizabeth Taylor fan. It's Andy Warhol's "Liz #5" and it is set to be sold by New York's Phillips de Pury & Company auctioneers in May.

The estimated value of the painting is a staggering $30 million.
