Kobe Bryant Apologizes For Courtside Meltdown
Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant apologized for his shocking courtside meltdown. He was so furious over the fouls called against him that he shouted an anti-gay slur at the referee.
NBA Commissioner David Stern called Bryant's behavior "offensive and inexcusable" and fined him $100,000.
"It's just a tough day. Forget about the fine," said Bryant.
Kobe apologized after Wednesday's game versus the Sacramento Spurs.
"It's not cool. I don't like bullying. Hate crimes are disgraceful. In the heat of the moment you say a lot of things you don't mean and that was certainly one of them," said Bryant.
