Candy Spelling Sells Her Massive Mansion

Candy Spelling is living proof that even the rich are feeling the recession after reducing the asking price of the Spelling mansion to $75 million…and it sold! INSIDE EDITION has the story.

If you want proof we're still in a recession, ask billionaire Candy Spelling, the widow of TV legend Aaron Spelling.

She wanted $150 million for her ginormous mansion in Los Angeles. But she reportedly slashed the price to $75 million to make the sale.

The 56,000-square-foot home has more than 100 rooms and has been on the market for over two years.

The buyer is only 22 years old! Petra Ecclestone is the daughter of British racing billionaire, Bernie Ecclestone, who is worth an estimated $4 billion!

Spelling is downsizing, so to speak, buying a two-story penthouse in the brand new, ultra-posh condo nearby for $47 million.
