LA Lakers star Lamar Odom and his wife Khloe Kardashian are said to be devastated after the car Odom was a passenger in was involved in an accident that lead to the death of a teenage boy. INSIDE EDITION reports.
Khloe Kardashian and her basketball star husband Lamar Odom are said to be "devastated" about a horrific car accident that claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy.
Odom, of the LA Lakers, was being driven by a chauffeur through a neighborhood in Queens, New York, where he grew up, when his car struck a motorcycle. The motorcycle then hit a teenager who happened to be walking down the street. He sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the hospital, but doctors couldn't save him.
Khloe, who stars on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Khloe & Lamar on E!, seemed like she was breathing a sigh of relief after hearing that her husband wasn't injured, tweeting: "Angels are surrounding me always. Thank you!!!!"
But Khloe received some criticism on her Twitter page from unnamed followers who apparently criticized Odom. She hit back: "Stop judging other people's lives that u know NOTHING about!"
She also gave her condolences to the boy's family: "My heart/soul goes out 2every1 in pain from any suffering."
Odom did not talk to a cameraman who asked about the tragedy but tweeted: "My thoughts and prayers are with the young boys [sic] family..."
