Kim Kardashian was spotted leaving the Minnesota home of Kris Humphries where she reportedly apologized to his parents for the sudden divorce. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
Kim Kardashian surprised everyone when she made a secret trip to see her soon-to-be ex, Kris Humphries, and his family in Minnesota over the weekend.
She landed in Minneapolis at 5:30 Saturday morning. She looked grim and exhausted as she carried a pillow.
"She felt like she owed it to Kris to talk things through with him face-to-face," said a Kardashian family representative.
"Kim feels deeply embarrassed and sad about what happened, she also wants to apologize to Kris's family for all the drama, media attention, and hurt this has caused them. She regrets not calling them to explain before she filed for divorce," said the Kardashian rep.
"This isn't about a reconciliation," said the Kardashian rep.
Kardashian and Humphries spent two hours talking with the minister who married them in that multi-million dollar wedding extravaganza. At one point she took a break and stood on the porch of Humphries' parents house, making a phone call. When Kardashian left, Humphries could be seen in the doorframe bidding her farewell.
Kardashian flew back to LA later that day and faced a media crush, still looking sad.
The split is such big news it got the Saturday Night Live treatment.
"It's been really hard. All week we've just been crying, and crying, and posing, and crying," joked comedian Nasim Pedrad portraying Kim.
By the way, Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner says she thought the skit was pretty funny.
