Justin Bieber Paternity Suit Dropped

After Justin Bieber's lawyer threatened legal action, the paternity case against the pop star was dropped. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.

Justin Bieber is in the clear, for now. The woman who claimed he's the father of her baby has dropped her paternity suit.

Mariah Yeater accused Bieber of losing his virginity to her backstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last year. But Bieber said he never even met Yeater and vowed to take a DNA test.

Yeater's two San Diego lawyers told INSIDE EDITION they no longer represent her. The lawsuit has been officially withdrawn.

But Yeater is apparently not giving up. She's hired a new lawyer, Jeffrey Leving of Chicago. He says the case will continue.

"I want a DNA test, period. I want to know if he's the father, and if he is the father, I want child support, very simple," said Leving.

Yeater's story came under fire following the revelation that she had accused another guy of being the father.

"She has received multiple death threats, and based on the the death threats, I believe it's best that this matter settle outside of court," said Leving.
