Seal appeared on Ellen and Tavis Smiley to discuss his separation of Heidi Klum. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Seal was talking about his split form Heidi Klum for the first time on Ellen Tuesday and explained why he's still wearing his wedding ring.
Seal told Ellen, "I am still wearing my ring, but that is pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. Will we wear these rings for the rest of our lives? Who knows. But right now it feels really comfortable."
Seal says he and Klum were just as suprised by the split as the rest of America.
Seal also appeared on the Tavis Smiley Show and said they are doing this split as civilly as possible.
Seal told Smiley, "We are not the only people on this planet that go through this. It is just, unfortunately, a chapter of life."
Some in the music industry are questioning the timing of the divorce announcement which coincides with the release of Seal's new album.
On Good Morning America on Tuesday, Bianna Golodryga reported, "One music executive said the timing of the announcement could help boost sales of his new album."
GMA's Robin Roberts came to the couples defense.
"I don't think the timing of it had anything to do with album sales," said Roberts.
