Miranda Lambert Speaks Out Over Chris Brown

While Chris Brown performed at the Grammys and won an award, Miranda Lambert let it be known that not everyone has forgotten the brutal beating he gave Rihanna. INSIDE EDITION reports.

It's a nasty battle brewing between Chris Brown and country music sweetheart Miranda Lambert.

At Sunday's Grammys®, Brown appeared to have been forgiven by much of the music world, except for Lambert. She is tweeting her fans to remember Brown's vicious assault on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna three years ago.

Lambert tweeted: "Not cool that we act like that didn't happen...I don't get it, he beat up on a girl."

Brown won the Grammy® for best R & B album. In his acceptance speech Brown said, "First and foremost I just got to thank God for the opportunity, and the Grammys® for letting me get up on stage and do my thing."

Brown also performed not just once, but twice. The first was a solo where he danced atop colorfully lighted steps. The second was a duet with David Guetta.

Lambert, who was a presenter at the Grammys®, thought it was all too much, tweeting: "Chris Brown twice? I don't get it."

And what's even more disturbing is that some young Chris Brown fans are taking to Twitter with so-called "Beat me tweets" writing: "Call me crazy butttt I would let Chris Brown beat me anyyy day."

And another tweeted: "Chris Brown can beat me all he wants. I'd do anything to have him oh my!"

The View's Sherri Sheperd couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"It concerns me about these women putting out these kinds of tweets. You've never been in the situation and you don't understand what it feels like to be punched in the face," said Shepherd.
