Oklahoma City's Fan Thunder

The supporters of Oklahoma City Thunder may be the loudest fans in sports and as game one of the NBA finals was televised, their voices were heard throughout the country. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

They put the thunder in the Oklahoma City Thunder, and they may be the loudest and most passionate fans in sports.

As the Thunder overcame the Miami Heat in game one of the NBA finals Tuesday night, Oklahoma's raucous fans raised the roof.

One commentator said, "These fans have been at it since well before the opening tip!"

Newspaper headlines are calling the Thunder crowd "Loud and Proud." Even the fans' favorite blog is called "Welcome to Loud City."

Before the game, every seat in the Thunder arena was draped with a blue Thunder t-shirt. Just about every fan wore one.

The fans were on their feet for most of the game. Miami Heat team President Pat Riley and basketball legend Alonzo Mourning looked uncomfortable in the midst of the "Thunderstorm."

But they were even more uncomfortable with the Thunder's convincing game one win.
