It's up, up, and away for Tom Cruise and Suri as he takes his little girl on a helicopter ride.
Cruise got out of an SUV holding Suri tightly in his arms. He shook hands with the security team and other people on the tarmac before heading to the copter. Every now and then, he patted Suri's back reassuringly.
They took off from New York City and flew over the Hudson River towards New Jersey. Destination unknown.
It was day two of daddy-daughter bonding.
Meanwhile, the new People magazine—out Friday—reveals new information about "Tom's Shattered World Married Man to Single Dad in 11 Days."
People magazine's Joey Bartolomeo told INSIDE EDITION, "Tom Cruise really was not aware that Katie was so unhappy in the marriage."
The star is described as "reeling" and "devastated" by the sudden breakup of his family.
We're also learning more about Cruise's top-secret reunion with Suri.
Cruise picked up Suri from the apartment of his ex-wife Katie Holmes. He stayed for only five minutes and didn't see his ex-wife, Holmes. Her mom, who's helping out with childcare, handed Suri over to Cruise.
Cruise brought Suri to the trendy downtown hotel where he's staying in a suite.
Now, Cruise is lashing out at Life & Style magazine for a headline on the new cover: "Suri in Tears, Abandoned by her Dad."
Cruise's longtime lawyer, Bert Fields, said, "That, as anyone knows who saw their photos together yesterday and today, is a disgusting, vicious lie. Until this week, Tom was shooting a film on location, but he spoke to Suri every day... Tom dearly loves Suri and the last thing he would ever do is abandon her."
So, who was the woman at Cruise's side helping out? It was his little sister, who was photographed carrying Suri's toys into their hotel.
Her name is Cass Mapother, and like Cruise, she's a devout Scientologist. She was responsible for homeschooling Cruise's older kids.
"Tom is not planning to conceal his Scientology beliefs from Suri. According to a source, he's not ashamed of them, and he's not going to hide them from his daughter," said Bartolomeo.
Although it's only been nine days since he finalized his divorce settlement, celebrity watchers are already speculating about who will become the fourth Mrs. Tom Cruise.
Latin actress Yolanda Pecoraro is said to be a potential bride. She's described as a "Scientology princess, perfect for Tom."
