Former Sex Symbol Brigitte Nielsen Seen in Park Clutching Vodka Bottle

Brigitte Nielsen was once the hottest sex symbol on screen. Now, the former model and actress who's publicly battled addiction was seen in a park clutching a vodka bottle. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

She's the 6-foot-2-inch stunner who starred in some of the biggest movies of the 80's. So what has happened to Brigitte Nielsen. In recent photos, the towering blonde is seen laying on the ground in a park, clutching a bottle of vodka.

The one-time international star was spotted staggering around a Los Angeles park. While Brigitte Nielsen has been public with her battle with alcohol, the sight of her chugging from a cheap bottle of vodka and then passing out in the grass like a homeless person has people saying that Nielsen has once again hit rock bottom. How could Brigitte Nielsen fall so hard and so far?

In 2008, Nielsen appeared on Celebrity Rehab and seemed to get her problems under control.

But Nielsen, who was married to Sylvester Stallone for 19 months in the mid-80's, has apparently now returned to her old ways. She reportedly bought the cheap bottle of vodka at a Los Angeles liquor store, then walked to the nearby park where she drank from the bottle, smoked cigarettes and then passed out in the grass. Her modest Hollywood Hills home is walking distance from the park.

Dr. Charles Sophy told INSIDE EDITION, "I think any time somebody triggers, relapses, slips and falls, I think that is a cry for help. Whether that's a conscious one or not is an issue, but nonetheless, they do need help because obviously they're not able to handle it on their own."

In the last decade, the Danish model and actress has made a career out of appearing on over a dozen reality shows.

INSIDE EDITION caught up with a rested-looking Brigitte Nielsen today as she walked her dogs. She told us she's committed to getting back on track.

"It's a very sad situation, but you know, a relapse can happen. This is what it's all about. I mean, if you want to get better—some people don't but I do—so I deal with it and I'm really feeling a lot better, so thank you very much," said Nielsen.
