Simpson tried out her skills as a news anchor, when she appeared as a guest host on Good Morning America. But it didn't exactly go off without a hitch.
At one point, Simpson had to take a cue from a backstage producer to introduce George Stephanopoulos for the next segment in the show.
Simpson wore a slimming black dress for her anchor gig, but in the evening she's been slipping into more comfortable, looser fitting dresses for dinner in New York City with her fiancé, Eric Johnson.
And all of the video, including the behind-the-scenes moments, of Simpson's new Weight Watchers commercial is shot from the chest up. She apparently wasn't comfortable showing her figure yet, because she hasn't lost all the baby weight. But she's on her way.
