Lady Gaga Announces "Body Revolution"

Lady Gaga took to her blog to defend her weight gain after unflattering pictures of her were published. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Lady Gaga is showing off her new, curvier body with the message, "This is who I am. And I am proud at any size."

Her defiance comes after the publication of a now-famous photo of Gaga's 25 pound weight gain at a concert in Amsterdam. Many people thought it had been photoshopped, but it's the real thing.

Now, the pop diva is posting photos of her fuller body, wearing yellow lingerie, on her little monsters website.

It's quite a change from her once trim bikini body that she put on display in her famous videos. The superstar wrote this caption on her blog, "Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15."

Kathie Lee Gifford applauded Gaga on the Today show and said, "Good for Lady Gaga. We don't often say that, but good for Gaga."

Gaga wrote on her blog, "My weight/loss/gain since I was child has tormented me. No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it.  But you have. When I eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I’m happy. Happier then I’ve ever been."

She's encouraging her fans to follow her lead, and post photos celebrating their "perceived flaws.” She's calling it "a body revolution." It’s triggered an onslaught of little monsters showing off their own bodies in all shapes and sizes.

The new issue of People magazine, on stands Friday, shows how Lady Gaga hid her weight with her over-the-top costumes, avant garde fashion, and oversized outfits in recent weeks.

Now, she seems ready to show off her new size and is proud of it.
