Of all the people reading Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new biography, it may come as a surprise that his former maid and mistress is one of them. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s maid-turned-baby momma got lost in a book at a California cafe.
And guess what book it is that she found so engrossing. It's Schwarzenegger’s autobiography, Total Recall. She even got a 30% discount.
Mildred Baena is listed in the index under, "Mildred (housekeeper); Arnold’s relationship with, pages 591-97."
Mildred wouldn't say what she thought of Schwarzenegger’s book as she left the coffee shop.
"What do you think of Arnold's book?" a reporter asked.
"Nothing, no comments," said Baena.
Meanwhile, sales for Total Recall are surprisingly flat. The Daily Beast website puts Total Recall at number one on its list of biggest celebrity memoir flops.
Despite a massive publicity campaign before the book launched, including appearances on 60 Minutes, Good Morning America and many other shows, the Daily Beast says Schwarzenegger has sold only 27,000 copies to date.
That's dwarfed by J.K Rowling’s new book, which sold 375,000 copies in its first six days alone.
Bonnie Fuller, Editor-in-Chief of Hollywood Life, told INSIDE EDITION, "If he had waited, done a mea culpa, been back on top of his movie game, then I think there could have been more interest in a book.
Also on the "flop authors" list, Jersey Shore’s fireplug Snooki, with her book Gorilla Beach, and John Edwards' mistress Rielle Hunter, author of What Really Happened.
"Rielle Hunter, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Snooki, are they really role models? Are people really dying to find out the secrets of their lives and success? I don't think so," said Fuller.
