Oscar Nominees' Moms Show Their Pride

Everyone is buzzing about the Oscars® this weekend, and none more than the proud mothers of the nominees. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

The hottest date for this year's Oscars®—mom.

The Academy just released a video of the Oscar nominees and their moms. They call it the mom-inees.

Quvenzhané Wallis' mom also has a unique name that begins with the letter Q. It's Qulyndreia. She tells what she did when she heard her 9-year-old daughter was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar®, saying, "I went on the balcony and I said, 'Hey L.A. my daughter just got nominated for an Oscar®!' "

Anne Hathaway's mom, Kathleen Hathaway said, "We saw Anne Hathaway and we just started jumping up and down and screaming and popped the champagne."

And Bradley Cooper's mother, Gloria Cooper, said, "When he said he wanted to be an actor, we were shocked. We always thought he was going to be a lawyer."

Jessica Chastain's grandmother, Marilyn, said, "When I got the news about her nomination for Best Actress, there was big hugs and screaming and jumping up and down!"

Meantime, the stars are descending on Los Angeles for Hollywood's big night.
 
Sally Field, wearing a hat, was spotted arriving in L.A. She's nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Lincoln. Jamie Foxx from Django Unchained also arrived in Los Angeles.

Actress Salma Hayek flew in from Milan with her French billionaire husband and adorable daughter Valentina.

The youngest Oscar® nominee ever, Quvenzhané Wallis, looks as if she's getting used to her glamorous new life. She walked the red carpet at an Essence magazine event clutching her little doggy purse.

Oprah flew in several students from her all-girl's school in South Africa. They were all glammed for the celebrations. The girls are going to watch the Oscars® in their pajamas at Oprah's hotel suite.
