Dionne Warwick Files for Bankruptcy

Dionne Warwick said she's flat broke.

"Say a Little Prayer for Me," reads the headline on the cover of the New York Daily News.

The singing icon is filing for bankruptcy, and INSIDE EDITION has obtained the 50-page bankruptcy filing. It says 72-year-old Warwick is $10.7 million dollars in debt and has just $1,000 left in her bank account. According to the bankruptcy papers, she's forced to live on just $10 dollars a month after paying her bills.

"Due to several consecutive years of negligent and gross financial mismanagement, Dionne Warwick has realized the current necessity to file personal bankruptcy," Warwick's publicist says in a statement.

Dionne is best known for her string of Burt Bacharach hits from the 1960s, including the classics "I Say a Little Prayer" and "The Look of Love."

Warwick is Whitney Houston's cousin. She was front and center during Houston's funeral last year.

Meanwhile, Whitney's sister-in-law, Pat Houston, is speaking out about a shocking report that she tried to commit suicide.

Pat gave her friends and family a scare on Tuesday with this ominous post on her Facebook page: "Sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges. And for the first time in my life… I'm tired…and I want to finally rest. I love you guys."

When Pat didn't respond to phone calls or texts, family and friends called 9-1-1, and Pat was brought to the hospital near her home outside Atlanta.

But Pat said it was all a "complete misunderstanding."

She said she's dealing with a back injury, and her Facebook post simply meant that she just wanted to "rest," not "rest in peace." She said her family couldn't reach her, because she'd taken a pain pill that caused her to sleep deeply.
