The pop star is being investigated for battery after an argument with a neighbor who complained about the way Bieber sped around the neighborhood in his Ferrari. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's all out war between Justin Bieber and a neighbor who accused the pop star of assault and battery.
Bieber really got into it after his neighbor, an auto tycoon named Jeffrey Schwartz, confronted the singer after he allegedly raced his Ferrari on the streets in their Calabasas, California neighborhood.
Bieber lives in a gated community in Calabasas. It's a quiet and exclusive enclave and home to the super rich. Not exactly the kind of place you'd expect a street race.
Bieber, seen in a video in his Ferrari, was reportedly clocking speeds up to 100 miles per hour at 8 in the morning. Schwartz confronted Bieber, reportedly telling him, "You can't drive like this!"
Bieber reportedly responded, "Get the (blank) out of here."
A sheriff's spokeman tells INSIDE EDITION Bieber spat in Schwartz's face and said, "I'm gonna (blank)ing kill you."
Schwartz issued a statement saying, "He's a punk. He thinks he's invincible. He can't continue to have a bunch of enablers around him. It was a very unpleasant and unsettling situation."
The Los Angeles sheriff's office has launched a criminal investigation.
Steve Whitmore of the Los Angeles sheriff's deparment said, "There have been allegations made against Justin Bieber that involve misdemeanor battery. And as well as there's an allegation made of threats."
Bieber moved into the ritzy Calabasas neighborhood last spring after buying his massive mansion for $6.5 million from Eddie Murphy's former wife, Nicole. It includes a gorgeous pool and hot tub. And he's got some very famous neighbors. Just down the street is Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother. Nearby is Britney Spears.
Reports of Bieber's neighbor feud comes after a string of odd behavior. He lost his cool with photographers in London. And he just returned from Poland where he went through an airport metal detector shirtless.
As for the latest drama, on The Talk Wayne Brady had this advice for the neighbor: "If Justin Bieber spits in your face, at that point, beat Justin Bieber."
