Justin Bieber is defending himself against critics for a string of recent incidents, saying it's all part of being young and growing up. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.

In an exclusive interview with US Weekly, Bieber says, "I mess up sometimes. I'm young and I make mistakes. That's part of growing up!"
Ian Drew of Us Weekly told INSIDE EDITION, "He says 'I'm a good person with a big heart. That's the wrong way to paint me. I'm not this bad person, I'm not falling apart. There's a huge difference between me and someone who needs rehab.'"
Concerns have mounted about the pop sensation after a string of bizarre incidents including a blowup with the paparazzi. He's also been photographed everywhere walking around without a shirt, and even went through airport security with his underwear in full display.
Bieber says, "The biggest misconception about me is that I'm a bad person. I get upset about that. I want to be a good role model, but some people want me to fail."
The interview was conducted before Bieber allegedly assaulted his neighbor, auto tycoon Jeffrey Schwartz. Schwartz claims the singer spat at him and threatened to kill him.
The singer is just the latest celebrity to have a neighbor war. Ashton Kutcher had a meltdown when his neighbor's noisy contractor woke him at the crack of dawn. And Katherine Heigl's neighbors called the cops to complain about her loud pool parties. Heigl was seen on video in a bikini, with her husband being grilled by a cop.
Josh Altman appears on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing. He says living next door to a big name celebrity can be a headache.
Altman told INSIDE EDITION, "It's never quiet when a superstar moves in next door. You've got to deal with the entourage. You've got to deal with the paparazzi. That can be a nightmare. So, there's always added frustration whenever a celebrity crashes a neighborhood."
