Country Music Takes Over Las Vegas for ACM Awards

INSIDE EDITION mixed with country music's biggest stars at the Academy of Country Music awards in Las Vegas.

Miranda Lambert was the night's big winner at the Academy of Country Music awards in Las Vegas, taking home four awards including Female Vocalist of the Year. The win brought tears to her eyes.

Lambert said on stage, "A big dream of mine came true."

Backstage, Lambert was still overcome with emotion when INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander caught up with the winner.

Alexander said, "Congratulations. How are you feeling?"

"I feel very humble, really, to be honest with you," said Lambert.

At the ACM awards, perhaps more important than walking onstage is walking the red carpet, and country music's biggest stars didn't disappoint.

Country music's leading ladies Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill posed together on the red carpet. Underwood arrived in a demure floral gown, then slipped into a little black dress for her performance.

Shania Twain also wore black, and sexy thigh-high boots.

Taylor Swift was radiant in a gold gown, but she went home empty-handed after being nominated for five awards. She sat next to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw during the show.

McGraw told INSIDE EDITION, "The best part of the ACM's is getting to see all my friends."

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott was glowing, walking the red carpet pregnant with a baby girl.

Alexander asked Scott, "How are you feeling, mama to be?"

"I'm feeling great. We're having a baby girl. They like say that I'm really hormonal, but I'm really not," said Scott.

Jewel also stood out in a sequined strapless gown, on a night when Vegas went country.
