Catherine Bach's Husband Commits Suicide

Actress Catherine Bach's husband, a former attorney to Michael Jackson, committed suicide at their Los Angeles home. INSIDE EDITION has details on the tragic 911 call made by Bach.

A heartbreaking 911 call by actress Catherine Bach, the original Daisy Duke on the TV classic The Dukes of Hazzard.

She's calling about her husband, Hollywood entertainment lawyer Peter Lopez, who was found shot dead outside their home in Encino, California.

On the 911 call, Bach exclaimed, "They think he's dead! They think he's dead! Please come now! His feet are straight up. It looks like he's dead. Can you come right now?"

911 Operator: "Is he breathing?"

Bach: "No, he's not breathing! He's not breathing. I need you to come right now!"

In this just-released 911 call, the terrified star says she's afraid to go outside after hearing a shot.

911 Operator: "Are you with that person right now?"

Bach: "No, I can't. I'm afraid that the person might shoot me."

911 Operator: "Okay, I understand."

Bach: "And I have two little girls."

While Catherine Bach was calling 911, a housekeeper and a friend went outside and found her husband lying shot dead on a hill above their home. Bach's reaction was heard on the 911 call as they ran back into the house to tell her.

Bach: "Oh my god! They think he's dead! They think he's dead! The housekeeper went up there. They think he's dead. Please come now!"

911 Operator: "Okay. The police are responding code 3 as fast as they can. Hold on ma'am."

Catherine Bach's portrayal of Daisy Duke made her part of TV history. Her husband's most famous clients included Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez. Police say he killed himself and left a one page suicide note.

Bach suspected he might have committed suicide when she called 911.

911 Operator: "Ma'am, the person that shot your husband, who was it?"

Bach: "We don't know. We don't know. Maybe he shot himself."
