Cory Monteith's Final Days

After the coroner revealed what Glee star Cory Monteith died from, more insight has emerged into his final days. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

The new issue of People magazine, on stands Friday, reports that everyone on the Glee cast is "worried" about star Lea Michele.

People reporter Carlos Greer told INSIDE EDITION, "This has effected her, obviously. This has really hit her hard. We have spoke to sources that are extremely worried about her right now."

Michele's spokesman released a statement right after the coroner revealed that Lea's boyfriend, Cory Monteith, died of a lethal combination of alcohol and heroin.

Her spokesman said, "She is deeply grateful for all the love and support she's received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them."

Monteith and Michele famously posed together during a racy photo shoot for GQ magazine in 2011.

Greer said, "Lea Michele was a girlfriend that really stood by Cory Monteith's side. She was like his rock. He voluntarily checked into rehab earlier this year, and she was right there with him."

Published reports say Michele did not know 31-year-old Monteith had relapsed into heroin. She is now said to be planning his funeral.

People magazine says he spent his final days "indulging in Vancouver’s nightlife", partying at night club's like Queen's Republic and The Roxy and hanging out at The Shop, which is steps away from "an alley known for drug dealing."

In an eerie case of life imitating art, Cory Monteith played a young drug addicted street hustler in his last film, Mechanic, which is yet to be released. He looks pale and thin, almost unrecognizable as the wholesome young actor he played on Glee.
