Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt are now revealing they blew through $10 million.
Montag told INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret, "I was just really young and naive and just didn't know what I was getting into."
Moret asked, "Did you really make $10 million and go through every cent of it?"
"We spent most of it. It's easy to spend money. We were living a billionaire lifestyle with millions of dollars," answered Spencer Pratt.

They chartered planes for vacation trips so they could take their four dogs along.
"When you're renting private jets and each way the gas is $60,000, so boom! Right there, one flight back and forth is $120,000," said Pratt.
There were million dollar wardrobes for each of them.
Montag said, "I became so materialistic because I was so excited to have one item. Then it was two and three, and before you knew it, everything in my closet was designer."
They spent $3 million producing an album to launch Montag's recording career. It sold just 1,000 copies.
"I have the most expensive playlist on anyone's iPod in history," said Pratt.
Craziest of all were the ten plastic surgeries: a brow lift, a nose job, chin reduction, neck lipo-suction fat injections, ears pinned back, triple D breast implants, buttock implants and more liposuction.
Montag revealed, "I definitely regret the surgeries. I wish I could take that back."
Her enormous bust made her look like a freak, and she has since had them reduced.
"They were just too big for my body and I was having spine problems and my arms were going numb from the nerves being damaged," said Montag.
The couple's reality show roller coaster ride is documented in an E! Channel special,
After Shock which airs Monday night.
"We had to learn a lot of lessons the hard way," said Montag.
