ACM Awards Honors Country Music Greats

It was a big night for Miranda Lambert. She took home three Academy of Country Music awards, including Best Female Vocalist for the fifth year in a row.

Lambert said at the podium, "I can't believe it. I'm so grateful and thankful and humbled."

All the buzz was about Lambert's slimmed down new look.

INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander caught up with Lambert backstage where she revealed her weight-loss secret, not eating pizza everyday.  "Picking and choosing my moment," said Lambert.

The night kicked off in Vegas under a shower of confetti as The Band Perry sang their hit "Chainsaw."

The show's hosts, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, had some fun and challenged Ellen's record-breaking Oscar selfie with a selife of their own.

The audience went wild as Faith Hill hit the stage to sing a duet with hubby Tim McGraw.

On the red carpet some of the biggest stars wowed us with their fashions. Taylor Swift showed lots of skin in a white crop top and black skirt with a thigh-high slit.

Carrie Underwood was retro-glam in a silver Oscar de la Renta with fringe details.

Alexander said, "I give you the award right now."

"Thank you. I like it because I can do this (shakes in dress)," said Underwood.

Country cutie Kellie Pickler looked lovely in lavender. She told INSIDE EDITION, "My stylist came in with a rack full of dresses. This is the first one I pointed to and I put it on and thought, 'this is it.' "

And it was the King of Country, George Strait who reigned supreme, taking home Entertainer of the Year. The last time he won that honor was 25 years ago.
