Cancer Patient Who Shared Stage with Beyoncé Loses Battle

It was the touching video of Beyoncé singing a song to a young fan battling a rare form of cancer. Now, five years later, that young fan has passed away. INSIDE EDITION has more.

It was the heartwarming moment that touched the world. Beyoncé singing her song "Halo" to a young cancer patient she called her angel.

Chelsea Lee James, her hair wispy from chemotherapy, was in tears. That touching video was shot almost five years ago and became a YouTube favorite. But recently, Chelsea suffered a relapse. Sadly, the day after Easter, Chelsea lost her cancer battle. She was only 15.

Her mother Donna posted this on her facebook page: "RIP my baby girl.  You can rest, love u always, mummy."

One of Beyoncé's fans said it all in a tribute on her Twitter page that read,  "Thank you Beyonce for bringing light into her darkest hours."
