Robert Downey, Jr.'s Son Agrees to Enter Rehab

Robert Downey, Jr. was in court, sitting in the front row to support his troubled 20-year-old son, Indio, who faced drug possession charges.

A judge asked, “How do you plead?”

“Guilty,” he said.

In exchange for pleading guilty, Indio agreed to enter rehab. He was busted in June after cops found cocaine in his car.

He said, “I appreciate this opportunity and I intend to make the most of it.”

Then, the judge made a reference to Robert’s signature role as Iron Man, saying, “I know in life people always look up to superheroes. You've heard of that before. Well, I think you might have contact or insight into one superhero, that's Iron Man."

Indio's record will be wiped clean if he can stay sober for 18 months and finishes his rehab program. He is also prohibited from being around anyone who buys, sells, or uses drugs.
