Duck Dynasty daughter Sadie Robertson may come from a conservative upbringing, but she’s letting loose on Dancing With the Stars. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
This little ducky sure can dance!
Duck Dynasty heiress Sadie Robertson sure is heating up Dancing with the Stars. The seventeen-year-old is getting lots of attention for her outfits.
Judge Carrie Ann asked her, “Was your dad ok with that routine? Because It was a little edgy and a little sexy there were a lot of hip thrusts.”
The answer was, yes! Turns out, her Duck Dynasty dad, Willie Robertson, has to sign off on all of her wardrobe choices.
Sadie Robertson asked her father, “What do you think about this one?”
“Those aren’t dresses, those are dish towels,” replied Willie over a video call.
But, daughter Sadie says she has her dad's full support.
“He was very supportive when I first said I was going to be on the show. I was kind of unsure, and my dad said, ‘if you don’t do this I’m going to be so upset,’” said Robertson.
The Duck Dynasty clan is known for their conservative Christian values.
Willie Robertson led a prayer at the competition: “We thank you for Sadie and I pray that she does well in this competition. In Christ we pray, amen.”
Surprisingly, Robertson says she has never danced before. She used to attend a high school in Louisiana where dancing was banned, just like in the movie Footloose, the remake of which stared dancing judge Julianne Hough.
“As long as I cover what needs to be covered and be classy. Then it's ok with him,” said the teenager.
