Nicki Minaj Says 'I'm Very Sorry' for Nazi-Themed Video

Nicki Minaj is apologizing for her new Nazi-themed video that sparked immediate outrage. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.

Nicki Minaj is rapping to a different tune today, apologizing for her shocking, Nazi-themed music video.

The video depicts Minaj as a dictator commanding legions of soldiers. The imagery looks strikingly similar to Nazi symbolism. In the video, the Y-M symbol stands for Minaj's record company, Young Money, and looks eerily like a swastika.

Today, Minaj is defending herself, tweeting: "I didn't come up w/the concept, but I'm very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art."

INSIDE EDITION viewers are weighing in.

One viewer, Krissy Chula, said, "I completely understand why people are so upset. I mean, the images are almost completely the same as the images you would see associated with Nazis."

The Anti-Defamation League is accepting Minaj's apology, saying, "Her clear renunciation of Nazism is an important step."

Minaj, who hosted the MTV European Music Awards in Scotland over the weekend wearing sexy getup after sexy getup, returned to Los Angeles and to a scene of total paparazzi chaos.

Upon her return, Minaj said to the paparazzi, "This is my new Jewish boyfriend. Why the (blank) would I do that? We did this together."

Was she joking? It's hard to tell.
