Bill Cosby Dismisses Death Rumors

Bill Cosby isn't laughing at internet rumors that he had died. The 73-year-old comic legend says it's the fourth time this has happened, and it's not funny.  INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Bill Cosby wants the world to know he's not dead.  That's the message he had when he called into CNN's Kyra Phillips, filling in for Larry King.

The Cos was responding to rumors on the internet he had passed away.

He told Phillips, "I found out when my daughter called the house someone picked up and she said is my father there?  She said 'dad people are calling me are you alright?'"

Someone started a twitter rumor Monday afternoon that the 73-year-old legendary comedian had died.

Cosby was so upset about the unnecessary pain for his family that he called CNN to set the record straight.

"I don't want this person or whatever I don't want them to do this anymore," Cosby said.

Then the Cos tweeted his own humorous message, even making up his own word:

"I'm rebuttaling rumors about my demise."

Then he blasted whoever was responsible for the rumor tweeting:  "Emotional friends have called about this misinformation.  To the people behind the foolishness, I'm not sure you see how upsetting this is."

Phillips asked, "So when you do die what's that conversation gonna be like that one on one talk that you're gonna have with god?"

Cosby joked, "I don't know but I do know I have an impression of what hell is like.  Everybody is laughing but there's nothing funny."
