Deborah Norville Carries Special Olympics 'Flame of Hope' Through Manhattan
It was an electrifying moment for INSIDE EDITION’s Deborah Norville, as Olympic figure skating legend Tara Lipinski lit the torch Norville was holding for a very special occasion.
The flame Norville carried on a run through Lower Broadway in Manhattan on Thursday morning with Special Olympian Thomas Patterson was “The Flame of Hope," which has burned continuously since it began its journey all the way from Greece, three weeks ago.
At the end of their run, Norville passed the flame on to a little boy and the flame's journey will continue for another 3,000 miles to the Special Olympics world games in Los Angeles next month.
