Kelly Osbourne To Trump: If You Kick Latinos Out Of America, Who's Going To Clean Your Toilet?

Kelly Osbourne made a massive misstep as she tried to call Donald Trump out for his offensive remarks live on TV.

While appearing as a guest co-host on The View on Tuesday, Osbourne referenced comments he had made about Mexicans being murderers and rapist.

"If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" she said.

The comment was met with silence on set. Fellow co-host Rosie Perez then challenged Kelly, who tried to clarify what she meant.

While some viewers slammed the host as racist on Twitter, others said they believed Osbourne had good intentions but had misspoken.

And all seemed back on track behind the scenes after the show.

My apologies @KellyOsbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos. My bad. You're heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you. @TheView

On Tuesday afternoon, Osbourne took to Facebook to take responsibility for what she had said.

"I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions," she wrote. "In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT."

She said that she "whole-heartedly f***ed up" with her comment on the show.

"I’ve learned a very valuable lesson," she said. "It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole."

She added that she cleans her own toilets.
