Killer is Seen Partying in Prison After Murdering Her Mom, Friend Says: 'She's Dancing on Her Mother's Grave'
Heather Mack, who killed her mother before stuffing her body in a suitcase while they vacationed in Bali, has been seen dancing while in prison on the tropical island.
The 20-year-old Chicago-raised heiress was also filmed wearing trendy shades and make-up with a big smile on her face.
Heather and her boyfriend, Tommy Schaeffer, were convicted of murdering her mother, Sheila von Wiese-Mack, and stuffing the body into a suitcase during a vacation in Bali last year.
He is serving 18 years behind bars and she is serving ten, although she says she's hoping for a reduction in the sentence.
She told photographers: “[I] hope the years'll go down.”
The young couple's daughter, Stella, was born in prison and is now a year old.
Video shows Tommy cradling Stella while her mother was dancing.
The prison where Heather and her boyfriend are being held has been described as "a Hellhole," but in the new video, it looks more like a summer camp.
Elliot Jacobson, a family friend, watched the video and told INSIDE EDITION: “It is just really painful and frankly sordid to watch this. The Hellhole looks like a country club and it looks like a party. I think she is dancing on her mother’s grave.”
