The supermodel has detailed her incredible life in a new book, 'The Face That Changed it All.'
Beverly Johnson was the first black model ever featured on the cover of Vogue in 1974 and changed the fashion world forever.
But in her candid new memoir, The Face That Changed It All, the legendary supermodel says she had other dreams.

She told INSIDE EDITION’s Les Trent: "I didn't want to be a fashion model, I wanted to be a lawyer. I was a swimmer. I didn't have these ideas or dreams of the fashion world."
Modeling agent, Eileen Ford, also once rejected her at an audition, she revealed.
Beverly recounted: "She said ‘You're too fat. Next!’"
But the model conquered the fashion world with too many covers to count. Unfortunately, as she writes in her new book, she also succumbed to a sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle.
The book is full of never-before-seen photos of Beverly and images from the heady days when she was the face of high fashion.
She told Trent that she wanted the book to be “honest and very candid."
In one shocking story, she reveals she once took drugs while she was pregnant. She also lost custody of her daughter Anansa.
There's another subject matter that fills her book – Men. She admits: "My favorite topic."
She says she had flirtations with Eddie Murphy and Jack Nicholson and had affairs with tennis great Arthur Ashe and actor Chris Noth.

Most recently Beverly has made headlines after coming forward to claim she was one the many women who say Bill Cosby drugged them.
"My conscience and my principles led me to write a story for Vanity Fair. I didn't know what it was going to do, but I was going to write that story,” she explained.
Cosby has continued to deny any of the allegations against him.
