The little girl has been undergoing intense treatment for the disease. While in the hospital, she began to read and love the Spider-Man comics from the 1960s.

The Children’s Wish Foundation had the difficult task of making Mable’s dream to transform Spider-Mable and allow her to “fight crime” in Edmonton.

On Monday, Mable donned a Spider-Man-like costume and began her heroic day when a newscast informed her that Edmonton Oilers captain Andrew Ference was missing and needed help. The video was created by Leven Creative.

She went down to City Hall to meet with Mayor Don Iveson and was greeted by “Spider-Man” who said he came from New York City to help her out.

According to The Edmonton Journal, Mayor Iveson gave her orders to "Go save the city."
