Alek Skarlatos sizzled on the dance floor with his new partner on Monday night.
The American hero, who took down a terrorist on a train to Paris over the summer, was paired with a new dance professional for “switch-up” week on Dancing with the Stars. And Skarlatos, who is usually paired with Lindsay Arnold, was more than happy to be matched with Emma Slater.
After their passionate rumba, host Erin Andrews said: “I felt like something was happening there. Can we get a date?”
"Sure," he responded.
Backstage, he told INSIDE EDITION: "It's awesome. She's absolutely fantastic. Not bad to look at either."
As for their date, he added it's a "secret recipe - a closely guarded secret recipe of mine."
But it wasn’t all love for the pair – after his partner clocked him in the nose during rehearsals, leaving him with a potentially broken nose.
“I guess elbows happen in dancing,” he told IE. “That was definitely a surprise.”
She added: “I felt awful.”
Skarlatos also opened up about his friend, Spencer Stone, who is recovering after being stabbed multiple times in the chest last week.
“I hate to say I am getting used to [bad news], but it’s different when it happens to your best friend,” he said.
