When the trooper approached the car, the girl's dad yelled that his daughter was unresponsive and he and his wife were trying to get to a hospital.

The camera in his patrol car captured Stoffer performing CPR on the motionless girl, who then started breathing on her own. An ambulance pulled up to transport her to a local hospital.

Ohio State Highway Patrol shared the dashcam video from the incident to Facebook.

"She is now in stable condition," the post read. "Trooper Stoffer is receiving a Certificate of Recognition on November 4."
