Cops: Couple Shot Dead While Having Sex in the Back of a SUV Had Other Lovers

A couple was shot to death in a 'crime of passion' while having sex in a SUV at a Philadelphia park, authorities said.

A couple having sex in the back of a SUV were shot to death in a “crime of passion” by an attacker who pumped nine rounds into their heads, police said.

The victims were identified Monday as Shakoor Arline, 25, and Lisa Smith, 32, according to Pennsylvania cops. Their bodies were found Friday by maintenance workers at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia.

The couple had other romantic partners and police called the shooting a “crime of passion.”

“So obviously that is where our investigation is going to start,” Capt. James Clark told reporters at a news conference Monday.

“Because somebody knew that they were in the park at that time and obviously had an issue with that,” he said.

“You’ve got nine shots fired, all of them head shots to both of the victims, so it appears to be very much a crime of passion,” Clark said.

Investigators were trying to locate a man who had been seeing Smith and were checking on a woman who had been dating Arline, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
