Backstage the winner and her partner, Derek Hough, were overjoyed.

“Oh my goodness, I am so excited,” she told INSIDE EDITION.

She capped off the competition with a high energy cha cha/Argentine tango which earned her a standing ovation from the judges and a perfect score.

Much of Bindi's performances were dedicated to her Crocodile Hunter dad, Steve Irwin, often bringing the star and the audience to tears, but it was all smiles when she won that coveted trophy.
