Scott Brown Doesn't Regret Nude Cosmo Spread

Republican Scott Brown, the newly-elected Senator from Massachusetts, says he does not regret the nude photo spread he shot for Cosmopolitan in 1982. INSIDE EDITION has more.

Political newcomer Scott Brown, who won Ted Kennedy's Senate seat, told Barbara Walters his political success story began with that nude center spread in Cosmopolitan in 1982, which helped him pay his way through law school.

"And do I regret doing that? No, because if I hadn't done that, I never would have been sitting here with you. It's all connected."

And he says he wants his daughter Ayla to be given a second chance on American Idol. She was eliminated in the 2006 season after Simon Cowell said this: "I thought you were very robotic the first time I saw you."

Incredibly, he says Simon was right!

"It's kind of harsh what he says, [but] if you actually listen to what he says, it was right. She was 17 and she had never even put on makeup until she walked into the American Idol studios. I would love to have him have her on the show again," Brown says.
